Conference AV Production for the Ozri Roadshow

Ozri 2017 brought together Geographic Information System professionals for three days of user stories, international presentations and in-depth discussions about developments across the GIS industry.

NEXTGEN worked with Esri Australia to deliver the conference across Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. The production required a stage and visual environment that could maintain a consistent look across three major convention centres while remaining practical to transport, install and operate throughout the roadshow.

NEXTGEN developed a transportable stage concept combining widescreen projection, LED panels, custom staging and professional content systems. The result created a high-impact presentation environment designed around Esri’s content, speakers and audience.

WHAT NEXTGEN DELIVERED
  • Transportable Stage Design: NEXTGEN developed a stage environment combining LED panels and widescreen projection, designed to maintain a consistent visual identity across all three conference locations.
  • Roadshow Logistics: Detailed planning coordinated the equipment, staging and technical systems across a two-week national program, allowing the production to move efficiently between Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
  • Creative Content Integration: NEXTGEN worked closely with Esri’s creative team to ensure the physical stage, LED displays and projection surfaces complemented the onscreen content and overall visual identity.
  • Widescreen Laser Projection: Borderless ProWideScreen projection and 10K laser DLP projectors delivered bright, detailed presentation content across the large-format stage environment.
  • 4mm LED Display Technology: High-brightness 4mm LED panels were integrated into the stage using a custom floor-mounting system designed for efficient installation and removal throughout the roadshow.
  • Touring Technical Crew: A specialised touring crew provided consistent technical operation and show delivery across each location, maintaining the same production standard throughout the conference series.
  • Multi-Screen Content Management: Pandora’s Box media systems managed multiple video outputs and synchronised content across the projection and LED display elements.
  • Conference Delivery: All three events were delivered successfully, with Esri Australia’s CEO praising the professionalism of the production team and the quality of the Ozri conference experience.

 

The Ozri roadshow demonstrated how conference staging, widescreen projection, LED displays and carefully managed content can work together as one visual environment.
